Job summary

adidas is seeking a Benelux Sales Intern at our Amsterdam headquarters. You will support the Benelux Sales Team in driving growth with wholesale partners and retailers, and assist with go-to-market initiatives across the marketplace.

You will gain hands-on exposure to key wholesale partnerships, sales planning, budgeting, and presentations while developing skills in communication, analytics, and stakeholder management in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student for the entire duration of the internship.
• Studying Marketing, Sports or Business Management.
• Available for the full internship period 01/02/2027 - 01/08/2027.
• Proficient working in English, both speaking and writing.
• Interest in Sports & Fashion industry, Sports Economics, Sports Sponsorship & Partnerships.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Passion for sport and/or an active lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with seasonal projects across different Benelux sales channels.
• Supporting SS28 sell-in readiness across key categories & growth drivers.
• Helping maintain or improve local sales tools & processes.
• Gain hands-on exposure to managing key wholesale partnerships including presentations, sell-in & sell-through performance.
• Develop skills such as networking, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and presentations.
• Think like a Retailer by understanding KPIs like Profitability, Margin, and Discounts.

YOUR INTERNSHIP ROLE

As a Benelux Sales Intern, you will be part of the Benelux Sales Team, a group that plays a key role within adidas by driving growth with key wholesale partners/retailers but also supporting the wider Benelux Marketplace to become the number 1 sports brand. The team works closely with Sales, Go-to-Market, Brand Activation, Sports Marketing, Business Analytics and Insights & Account Operations and is involved in strategic account management and sales driven initiatives contributing directly to adidas' overall success.

WHAT YOU'LL DO & LEARN

• Assisting with seasonal projects across different Benelux sales channels
• Supporting the preparation of SS28 sell-in readiness across key categories & growth drivers
• Helping maintain or improve local sales tools & processes
• Gain hands-on exposure to managing key wholesale partnerships including sell-in presentations, sell-in & sell-through performance, assortment & range planning, optimal product presentation (online & offline) & sales planning & budgeting
• Develop skills such as networking, internal & external communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, presentation skills, sales forecasting and reporting & negotiation skills
• Think like a Retailer: understanding of Sales KPI's which are key for Wholesale partners such as Profitability, Margin, Conversion, Discounts, Up & Cross-selling.
• Build confidence working in an international team.
