Job summary

Mentha is seeking an intern for the Investment Team - Impact in Amsterdam. You will join a small entrepreneurial team that closed the first Impact PE fund in the Benelux and take on significant responsibility from day one.

You will help with market research, assess potential investment opportunities and their impact, collaborating closely with the Impact team to create real value and accelerate your own development.

Qualifications

• Master's student with interest in sustainability and strong communication.
• Self-starter with analytical skills and motivation to create environmental impact.
• Interest in finance, strategy and people; previous internship in PE, M&A or strategy consulting is a plus.

What will you do?

We are continuously looking for talent with the Mentha DNA to support the Impact team during a five-month (minimum) internship. You will work in a small entrepreneurial team that closed the first Impact PE fund in the Benelux. From day one you will be given a lot of responsibility and you will be involved in market research, assessment of potential investment opportunities and their impact potential. You will work closely with our colleagues from the Impact team, so that you can immediately add value and your development is optimally stimulated.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate would be a master's student, who is self-starting, shows affinity with sustainability and has strong communication and analytical skills. You are eager to learn and have a strong motivation to make a positive - environmental - impact. We are looking for authentic and motivated talents who can support their own personal story with extracurricular activities and/or hobbies, and who have a broad interest in the combination of finance, strategy, and people. As we look at the total picture, previous internship experience in PE, M&A, and/or strategy consulting is an advantage, but not a requirement.
