Job summary

STICHD offers a Social Media & Content Internship based in the Netherlands with Fuel For Fans, a leading motorsport webshop. You will lead organic social content, plan campaigns, and explore new formats while learning from a global e-commerce team.

You will gain hands-on experience in social media, content creation, and digital marketing within a fast-paced international environment, while collaborating with major brands like Puma, Levi’s, and BMW Lifestyle.

Qualifications

• HBO/University-level student in Marketing, Communications or Media.
• Looking for a meewerkstage starting in February (32–40 hours per week).
• Minimum 6 months availability.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong interest in social media and content creation.
• Proactive, independent and able to take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Help manage Fuel For Fans’ social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
• Plan, create, and publish content around campaigns, product launches, race weekends, and seasonal moments.
• Contribute ideas for new content formats and stay up to date with social media trends.
• Help identify opportunities for creator, fan-generated, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Engage with the online community and respond to relevant trends.
• Capture content during events, photoshoots, or other brand moments.
• Track and analyze performance (reach, engagement, growth, conversion) and support optimization.
• Support campaign execution and webshop activities, ensuring launches go live smoothly.

The Job

As a Social Media & Content Intern, you will help grow Fuel For Fans, one of the world's leading webshops for official Formula 1 and motorsport merchandise. This is a hands‑on internship where you'll take an active role in managing Fuel For Fans' organic social media channels and exploring new ways to engage motorsport fans around the world. From spotting trends and creating content to capturing behind‑the‑scenes moments, you'll help bring the Fuel For Fans brand to life. While your focus will be Fuel For Fans, you'll be part of the broader E‑commerce team responsible for the official webshops of global brands like Manchester City, Premier League, McLaren Racing, AstonMartinF1, and BMW Lifestyle. This gives you a unique opportunity to learn from experienced marketers working across multiple international brands. This internship offers you the chance to gain real ownership and hands‑on experience in social media, content creation, e‑commerce, and digital marketing within a fast‑paced international environment.

Your Mission

During this internship, you will:

Your Talent

• HBO student in Marketing, Communication, Media, or a related field (2nd year or higher)
• Looking for a meewerkstage starting in February (32‑40 hours per week)
• Minimal available for 6 months
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong interest in social media and content creation
• Creative, curious, and eager to learn
• Proactive and comfortable taking ownership
• Not afraid to approach people, ask questions, or take initiative
• Familiar with content creation and editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms
• Bonus points if you're comfortable appearing in content yourself from time to time
• Affinity with Formula1 and motorsport is a big plus
• Able to work both independently and in a team
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment

This internship is based in the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible. To be considered for this internship, you must be legally authorized to work in the Netherlands without the need for a work permit.
