Job summary

Profile: Agile Test Coordinator – D365 F&O & CE

Hands-on, pragmatic, and risk-driven. Not a traditional corporate test manager, but a coordinator with strong functional knowledge who brings structure without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Role Objective

Coordinate the testing phase of a greenfield go-live for an international Dynamics 365 F&O & CE implementation, applying an MVP mindset: build sufficient confidence for a controlled go-live without attempting to test everything exhaustively.

Key Responsibilities

Organize and manage a structured yet flexible testing approach across several test streams:

• FITS – Standard functionality: Risk-based testing. Validate straightforward configurations through a limited number of targeted tests, while paying special attention to complex processes such as, for example, inventory allocation, intercompany transactions, and financial transactions.
• CE/F&O Dual Write: Validate data exchange and synchronization between both systems.
• GAPS – Custom functionality: Coordinate functional testing based on existing test scenarios, including role-based access and targeted regression testing of potentially affected FITS.
• Print templates: Validate the layout of commercial and logistics documents (e.g., sales invoice, bill of lading) using a number of test examples.
• Anaplan integrations: Coordinate initial integration testing for order allocation, delivery confirmation, and inventory postings.
• E2E & UAT: Organize and facilitate approximately 40 predefined end-to-end scenarios and final user acceptance testing.

The first business unit serves as the foundation for the global rollout. The testing should therefore focus primarily on processes that apply globally, supplemented by relevant local exceptions where applicable.

Desired Profile

• An agile mindset combined with structure, clear planning, progress monitoring, and prioritization, using DevOps as the management tool. Able to bring clarity and structure to the testing process rather than working primarily on an ad hoc basis.
• Quickly understands and analyzes issues, actively collaborates with the business, and distinguishes go-live blockers from acceptable deviations and post-go-live improvements.
• A strong communicator who effectively coordinates business stakeholders and the implementation partner, while remaining hands‑on when needed and personally conducting testing if required (an extra pair of hands to get the job done).
• Comfortable making pragmatic decisions, working with minimal documentation, and operating within a security role structure that is not yet fully defined.
• Experience coordinating integrated ERP testing in an international setting.
• Functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O is strongly preferred, and knowledge of CE is considered an added advantage.

Success criterion: a system that is demonstrably functional, sufficient business confidence, and a controlled go-live. Not the number of test cases executed (!)
