Job Description
- In this role as Interim Technical Team Lead you will:
- Lead a team of technical consultants and provide day-to-day people management and operational oversight.
- Assess current work processes, workflows, and team structures to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Improve resource allocation and workload distribution across the team.
- Drive greater collaboration between consultants and encourage cross-functional support.
- Strengthen knowledge-sharing practices and reduce dependency on individual expertise.
- Promote consistency in methodologies, processes, and team agreements.
- Establish clear expectations regarding responsibilities, performance, and ways of working.
- Foster open communication, constructive feedback, and a culture of accountability.
- Support employees through organizational and operational change initiatives.
- Build engagement and alignment around team objectives and continuous improvement activities.
The Successful Applicant
For this role as Interim Technical Team Lead
- Proven experience leading professional teams through development and change.
- A strong background in team development, culture improvement, and organizational transformation.
- Experience managing highly skilled professionals within a technical, engineering, consulting, or advisory environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and improve operational processes and work allocation.
- A track record of identifying bottlenecks and implementing practical process improvements.
- Experience breaking down silos and promoting collaboration across specialist teams.
- The ability to create alignment while respecting individual expertise and autonomy.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- A calm and structured leadership style combined with natural authority and credibility.
- Strong change management capabilities with the ability to create buy-in and engagement.
- ZZP registered and based in the Netherlands
- Fluent in Dutch and English
