Job summary

Amstelbay seeks an interim Program Manager to lead an international SAP S/4HANA implementation spanning The Netherlands and Germany. The role oversees a multi-team setup, aligning business processes with the implementation partner to deliver on-time and on-budget outcomes.

You will coordinate around 20 stream leads, manage risks, and ensure executive-level reporting and stakeholder alignment across Europe. The assignment runs through late 2027 and requires strong SAP transformation experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and tracking of all milestones and workstreams.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and formal change control.
• Drive resource planning, onboarding, and overall capacity management.
• Manage SI/Commercial models, deliverables, and contractual obligations, including change requests, budget adherence, and performance management.
• Ensure alignment of key Stakeholders and support producing executive-level reporting.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders across Europe to ensure alignment and readiness.
• Significant demonstrable project/program management experience within SAP transformation environments.
• Demonstrable PMO leadership experience on large-scale business transformations.
• Experience working with SAP testing tools, particularly in large-scale SAP transformations or S/4HANA programs.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and external system integrators.
• A background working with European teams and partners (suppliers).
• Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to challenge constructively, influence decision-making, and navigate complex stakeholder environments.

Interim Program Manager International SAP S/4HANA implementation

We have a great temporary assignment for an interimProgramManager for a SAP S/4HANA implementation. It is an implementation in TheNetherlands and Germany with international stakeholders in the parent companies.This program is being conducted in collaboration with a consultancy company(Supplier). The interim Program Manager is responsible for managing thebusiness side of the client (around 20 Stream Leads) and acts as a counterpartto the Supplier Program Manager (who also manages around 20 Stream Leads).

The scope of the program concerns Procure2Pay,Order2Cash, Trade & Risk Mngt, Schedule2Produce, Acquire2require (Assets),Record2Report, Cross Functional Analytics & Reporting.

The program started beginning of 2026. The businessprocesses have already been documented. The Design Phase is just finished. Theimplementation phase is set to begin in June and is expected to run untilDecember 2027.

Right now we need an interim Program Manager who canrun the implementation.
