Job summary

Worklane GmbH in Rotterdam is seeking an interim Procurement Assistant to join the Ingredients procurement team. The role focuses on supporting the implementation of the European Supplier Portal, gathering and validating supplier data, and coordinating with buyers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate information.

You will analyse forecasts and supply data, assist with contracts and PO management, and help safeguard supply while driving process improvements across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Good analytical and planning skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across countries and functions.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Analyse forecasts, inventory, contract positions and supply data to identify coverage needs, risks and opportunities.
• Support end-to-end execution of contracts, purchase orders and shipments, including scheduling, documentation, quality requirements and invoice follow-up.
• Coordinate with buyers, suppliers and internal stakeholders across Procurement, Logistics, Legal, Finance and Operations to safeguard supply and resolve operational issues.
• Support purchasing activities and process improvements by maintaining accurate data, contributing to system and project activities, and ensuring clear documentation and handover.
