Job summary

Finatal is seeking an Interim Director of FP&A & Group Performance in Amsterdam (Hybrid) to shape the financial performance of a PE-backed software and SaaS group. You will lead Group FP&A and Business Control, delivering sharper commercial insight and accountability during a critical growth phase.

You will partner with senior leadership on pricing, profitability and investment, align ARR/NRR with strategy, and strengthen reporting and planning tools while guiding a high-impact finance team.

Qualifications

• Senior FP&A, Business Control or Commercial Finance leadership within software, SaaS or technology.
• Experience in a PE-backed and/or acquisition-led international business.
• Track record of improving forecasting and influencing commercial outcomes.
• Strong people leadership, confidence challenging senior stakeholders and a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Shape Group planning, rolling forecasts and long-term financial strategy.
• Partner with leadership on pricing, profitability, resource allocation and investment.
• Connect ARR, NRR, sales pipeline and delivery performance to growth and cash generation.
• Support acquisitions, integration and the tracking of value creation initiatives.
• Strengthen reporting, data and planning tools while developing a commercially driven finance team.

Day Rate: €700-€900 + Expenses if/when required

Finatal is partnering with an established, PE-backed software and SaaS group providing business-critical platforms to the financial services sector. With a substantial European footprint and a recurring revenue model, the business is pursuing profitable growth through operational improvement and strategic acquisitions.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll lead Group FP&A and Business Control, bringing sharper commercial insight and greater accountability to the next phase of its value creation journey.
