Job summary

HOBIJ in the Netherlands is seeking an Intercedent to be the main contact for a team of temporary workers, bridging between them and the client. The role includes daily operations, forecasting, and workforce planning across Breda or Berkel en Rodenrijs locations and the Veghel head office.

You will onboard workers, answer questions, monitor their stay and ambitions, ensure accurate payroll, and look for process improvements.

Qualifications

• You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week and are flexible with your working hours.
• You have a higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking, gained through education or experience.
• You can communicate well in English. Speaking Dutch is an advantage, but not required.
• You are willing to work at the in-house locations in Breda and Berkel en Rodenrijs and regularly at the head office in Veghel.
• You are enthusiastic, proactive, result-oriented and persuasive.
• Experience in the temporary employment sector is an advantage, but not required.
• You have an SEU diploma or are willing to obtain it within your first year.
• You have strong organisational skills and know how to use your commercial mindset effectively.

The day starts at an in-house location in Breda or Berkel en Rodenrijs. A new temporary worker has a question about the onboarding process, while later that morning you have a meeting with the client about the forecast and staffing. You switch easily between both, keep an overview and make sure agreements are followed up. As a Intercedent, you combine working with people, administration and commercial responsibilities in one varied role. As an Intercedent, you are the main point of contact for a team of temporary workers and an important link between them and the client. You are closely involved in the daily operations, while also looking ahead. Together with your colleagues, you discuss forecasts, targets and workforce planning. This keeps you informed about what is happening and allows you to respond quickly to changes in staffing needs.

You are also available to support the temporary workers. You guide them through the onboarding process, answer their questions and regularly check how they are doing. You pay attention to how long they expect to stay and what their ambitions are. If you notice something that requires action, you take responsibility and make adjustments where needed.

In addition, you make sure the administration is accurate and up to date. You carefully process leave, absence and employees leaving the company, helping to ensure correct weekly payroll. At the same time, you look for ways to improve existing processes. When you see an opportunity to make something smarter or more efficient, you turn it into a practical solution and take the initiative to make it happen.
