Job summary

Oxfam Novib in The Hague is seeking an Integrity Specialist on a 7-month temporary basis. You will deter, detect, and respond to serious misconduct across our global operations, ensuring ethical conduct and organizational resilience.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent and experience in internal investigations, with strong English skills and willingness to travel. We offer hybrid work and a competitive salary under scale 10.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., HR, social sciences, development sciences) or at least 5 years of qualifying work experience.
• Experience conducting complex internal investigations into interpersonal misconduct (bullying, harassment, discrimination, abuse of authority).
• Excellent English language skills; additional Dutch or French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into high-risk misconduct allegations (safeguarding, HR/interpersonal).
• Manage sensitive information and document evidence securely.
• Ensure timely, fair investigations with risk assessments and mitigation.
• Assist with other integrity case management tasks as needed.
• Capture lessons learned to improve policies and procedures.
