An international manufacturing organization operating within the sustainable processing sector is looking for an experienced Instrumentation & Reliability Manager to strengthen its maintenance team.

The Instrumentation & Reliability Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance of instrumentation, electrical, and automation assets. You will play a key role in maintaining plant availability, leading technical teams, and implementing best-in-class maintenance and reliability strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for instrumentation, automation, and electrical systems.
- Lead fault analysis initiatives and drive sustainable solutions through Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring the required capabilities and resources are in place.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards, including applicable industry regulations.
- Support process safety and asset integrity programs, including risk assessments and safety-critical equipment management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as TPM, RCM, and condition-based maintenance.
- Monitor maintenance performance through KPIs and identify opportunities for increased reliability and efficiency.
- Manage maintenance budgets and optimize expenditure while maintaining high operational standards.
- Select, manage, and evaluate external contractors and service providers.
- Ensure accurate maintenance documentation and reporting through the CMMS system.
- Provide technical input for asset replacement projects, modernization initiatives, and capital investments.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and support operational requirements outside regular office hours when necessary.

About You
You are a hands-on and pragmatic leader with a strong technical background and a passion for asset reliability. You excel in dynamic industrial environments and are capable of balancing operational priorities with long-term improvement initiatives.
You bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance leadership within an industrial or process manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, PLCs, DCS platforms, and electrical installations.
- Experience with reliability and maintenance methodologies such as TPM, RCM, predictive maintenance, and condition monitoring.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms such as SAP PM, Maximo, or equivalent systems.
- Proven problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience coaching and developing teams.
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
