Job summary

Bennet & Boss is seeking an IT Solutions Architect / Enterprise Architect to design and govern end-to-end solution architectures for IT and digital initiatives in a complex offshore, EPC, oil and gas engineering environment. You will translate business needs into secure, scalable IT solutions using Microsoft Azure, API management and modern integration platforms.

With familiarity of PDMS and 3D plant design systems, you will work closely with business stakeholders, IT managers and delivery teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or related field; a master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in complex, multi-project environments (offshore/EPC/engineering).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure architecture, cloud-native solutions, API management and modern integration patterns; AI-enabled solutions are a plus.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and asset-intensive platforms; familiarity with PDMS or 3D plant design systems is a bonus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills and governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures across applications, data, integrations, infrastructure and security.
• Evaluate SaaS, cloud platforms and vendor designs against requirements.
• Ensure compliance with architecture standards and governance, document decisions, risks and deviations.
• Design solutions using Microsoft Azure and contribute to assessments and RFI/RFPs.
• Advise stakeholders and delivery teams, run architecture workshops and promote standardization.

IT Solutions Architect / Enterprise Architect

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and governing end-to-end solution architectures for IT and digital initiatives within a complex offshore, EPC, Oil & Gas engineering environment. You will translate business requirements into secure, scalable and supportable IT solutions using Microsoft Azure, cloud-native technologies, API management and modern integration platforms.

With enterprise architecture frameworks and asset-intensive engineering tools, including PDMS and 3D plant design systems, is also relevant to this role.

You will be working closely with business stakeholders, IT project managers and technical delivery teams, you will ensure architectural quality, promote the reuse of existing solutions and support the successful delivery of multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and document end-to-end solution architectures covering applications, data, integrations, infrastructure and security.
• Evaluate SaaS solutions, cloud platforms and vendor designs against architecture, security, integration and compliance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with architecture standards and governance frameworks, documenting architectural decisions, risks and deviations.
• Design solutions using Microsoft Azure and contribute to technology assessments, proof-of-concept activities and RFI/RFP processes.
• Advise stakeholders and delivery teams, facilitate architecture workshops and promote standardization and reuse of architecture components.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or a related field; a relevant master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in complex, multi-project environments, preferably within offshore, EPC or engineering organizations.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure architecture, cloud-native solutions, API management and modern integration patterns; experience with AI-enabled solutions is an advantage.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and asset-intensive or industrial data platforms, with familiarity with PDMS or 3D plant design systems, is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and communication skills and experience in architecture governance are required.
