Job summary

Prysmian Group in Eindhoven is seeking a Software Equipment Engineer to enhance our in‑house production machinery and R&D equipment. You will translate maintenance and process needs into software solutions, independently or with suppliers, to ensure reliable 24/7 operation.

The role requires a HBO degree in a technical field, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and a good command of English. Expect to work in a dynamic, international environment with opportunities to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree HBO in a relevant technical field, preferably Software Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience in software development for machine building or industrial automation.
• Good English level; strong communication and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into concrete designs or modifications and prepare transfer documentation.
• Manage software configuration control, MES systems, and version management.
• Support Process Control and Maintenance by liaising with suppliers to resolve issues.
• Travel to fellow factories as needed to support Optical Fiber BU.
