Job summary

VANMOKUM in Amsterdam-Noord is seeking an industrious Industrial Product Design intern for Feb–June 2027 to support the product development team. You’ll work on sketching, 3D CAD (SolidWorks/Rhino), prototypes and 3D prints, while coordinating with suppliers and managing your own projects with guidance.

You’ll gain experience with design brands like Graypants and Piet Hein Eek, and contribute to product readiness from concept to production. A valuable foundation for a future in product design.

Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks and Rhino.
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience with 3D printing and prototyping.
• Able to work with hands to assemble products in the workshop.
• Knowledge of Arduino/Electronics is a bonus.
• Good English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop products from sketch to production.
• Manage own projects and communicate with suppliers.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams on product development.
• Support showrooms and trips to fairs when needed.
