Job summary

Jobster in Ridderkerk zoekt naar een industriële schilder. Je werktdagelijks aan oppervlakken, coatings en schilderwerk voor industriële en maritieme onderdelen. Je krijgt scholing on the job en kunt groeien naar meer verantwoordelijkheid terwijl je af en toe op klantlocaties werkt. De rol is fulltime, 38 uur per week, met dagdiensten en vrijdagmiddag vrij.

Qualifications

• Praktisch ingesteld en gemotiveerd om een technisch vak te leren.
• Begrip van Engels of Nederlands voor veiligheidsinstructies.
• Bereid om af en toe op klantlocaties te werken.
• Geen minimumaantal jaren ervaring vereist.

Responsibilities

• Voorbereiden, schoonmaken en schuren van oppervlakken.
• Beschermende coatings en pistsystemen aanbrengen.
• Schilderen en behandelen van industriële en maritieme onderdelen.
• Materialen vooraf klaarzetten en bereiden voor coating.
• Kwaliteit van het werk controleren en documenteren.
• Werken aan reparatie- en onderhoudsprojecten.
• Af en toe op locatie bij klanten werken.

Industrial Painter in Ridderkerk | €2.600-€3.500 gross/month | Day shifts, varied technical work and experience is not always required.

Would you like to work with your hands and learn a technical trade? Or do you already have experience as an Industrial Painter, Coater or Spray Painter? In this job, you will protect and restore industrial and maritime components using different coatings.

No two jobs are exactly the same. You will work on different components and materials, both in the workshop in Ridderkerk and at customer locations.

As an Industrial Painter, you will:

• prepare, clean and sand surfaces;
• apply protective coatings and paint systems;
• paint and treat industrial and maritime components;
• prepare materials before coating;
• inspect the quality of your work;
• work on repair and maintenance projects;
• occasionally work at customer locations.

You don't necessarily need previous coating experience. If you are practical, technically minded and motivated to learn, the company can teach you the trade.

Already experienced as an Industrial Painter, Industrial Coater, Spray Painter or Coating Applicator? Your experience can be put to use immediately.

Experience as an Industrial Painter or Coater is welcome, but not required. There is no minimum number of years of experience for this position.

You will join a small technical family business in Ridderkerk with around 20 employees. The company specialises in repairing, overhauling and protecting industrial and maritime components against corrosion, erosion and wear.

The company has its own machine shop, coating department and service team. It works for customers in industries such as shipping, dredging, yacht building and the industrial sector.

Approximately 70% of the work takes place in Ridderkerk and 30% at customer locations. Most external work is in the Netherlands. International projects are also possible once you have gained enough experience, but working abroad is not a requirement.

You will work approximately 38 hours per week:

• Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM;
• Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Because the company carries out repair work, urgent jobs sometimes come in unexpectedly. Occasional overtime or Saturday work may therefore be required.

The company is looking for 2 to 3 new colleagues and wants to build a stable team for the long term.
