Job summary
WTS Energy Europe is seeking a Software Engineer to apply expertise in industrial automation. You will help design, implement and test control software for electrical installations, translating customer requirements into robust PLC/SCADA solutions.
You'll work with a team of software engineers, collaborate with customers, and occasionally travel to test and commission on-site. The role combines office development with hands-on site work to deliver reliable solutions.
Qualifications
- HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation or similar.
- Experience with PLC/SCADA programming (Siemens, Schneider or similar).
- Willingness to travel occasionally for testing or commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into concrete control solutions.
- Develop and test PLC and SCADA software (Siemens, Schneider and others).
- Run functional tests, both in the office and on site at the customer.
- Commission software on site, together with the customer and your team.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our standards and tools.
- Keep your knowledge up to date and share it within the team.
