Job summary

Ad Idem Consulting is seeking an entrepreneurial Procurement Manager for an Amsterdam-based Logistics Procurement team in a global FMCG business. You will help build a new warehouse footprint, managing six warehouses across Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in supply chain, warehousing or logistics, fluent English (German or Dutch a plus), and strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills. Travel about 20% is required.

Qualifications

• At least five years' experience in supply chain, warehousing or logistics.
• Fluency in English is essential; German or Dutch is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel around 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and manage international supplier relationships.
• Oversee freight-in, freight-out and ocean freight categories, plus pallets and embellishments.
• Develop sourcing and contracting strategy; track commodity cost drivers and market dynamics.
• Manage tenders from strategy through to negotiation; ensure quality, service and audit compliance.
