Job summary

Prysmian Group in Eindhoven is seeking a Commodity Buyer responsible for day-to-day purchasing of indirect materials and services within a multi-functional environment. You will work across operations, supply chain, finance, quality and HSE to optimize total cost of ownership and drive supplier performance.

The ideal candidate has Dutch and English language proficiency, a related bachelor's degree, 3+ years in purchasing, and experience with SAP and P2P processes to implement best practices and

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Dutch and English both spoken and written.
• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred, Capex/MRO/facility management advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities for indirect materials and services.
• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and reliability.
• Negotiate local sourcing contracts and create/update SAP sourcing contracts.
• Enter and follow up orders in SAP and monitor supplier performance.
• Provide reporting and advise stakeholders on purchasing procedures.
