Job summary

Marktlink in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced M&A Senior Associate to take ownership of a significant portion of the transaction process from A to Z. You will be responsible for analyses, valuations, and liaising with buyers and sellers while expanding Marktlink's network.

You already have 3–5 years in M&A and hold a finance-focused Master’s degree. You are social, entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and ready to work independently from day one at Marktlink.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance or finance-oriented Masters.
• 3–5 years of work experience as M&A analyst, associate or consultant.
• Social and entrepreneurial with practical and strategic insight.
• Analytical, punctual and target-driven.
• Affinity with SME companies is an advantage.
• Fluency in Dutch and good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Performing company and market analyses;
• Preparing valuations and bid books;
• Meeting potential buyers and sellers;
• Approaching new buyers and sellers;
• Expanding and maintaining the Marktlink network;
• Preparing financing applications and solving financing issues;
• Providing broad support to the manager during the projects.
