Qualifications

• MBO Level 3 or equivalent work and thinking level.
• Previous professional kitchen or Indian cuisine experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to quality and detail.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fast, organized, and hands-on approach.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
• Flexible to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.
• Willingness to learn and develop Indian cooking skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Indian dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Carry out preparation tasks such as washing, cutting, mixing, pre-cooking, and portioning.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients.
• Monitor taste, colour, texture, presentation, and doneness.
• Prepare à la minute orders and maintain workstation organization.
• Follow food hygiene, health, safety, and HACCP standards.
• Support and guide kitchen assistants when required.
• Maintain consistent food quality during busy service periods.
• Training will be provided in Indian cooking techniques and restaurant-specific methods.
