Job summary

The British School in the Netherlands is seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our Senior School Voorschoten campus in The Hague region. You will support students with language and literacy needs and collaborate with teachers to ensure access to the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of successfully supporting students with language learning and literacy needs, as well as social, communication & interaction needs.
• Excellent, clear levels of spoken and written English; good communication and interpersonal skills.
• An ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as being able to contribute as part of a large team; involvement in extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for students with a range of additional needs in the classroom and through targeted withdrawal sessions.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and the AEN team to plan and monitor progress.
