Job summary

Road is seeking a Legal Intern to gain hands-on experience in commercial and corporate law at a fast-growing international technology company in Amsterdam. You will work with our Legal team on contract review, drafting, research, data protection, and cross-functional collaboration to balance legal requirements with business goals.

Ideal candidates are Master's students in Law who remain enrolled, available 32–40 hours/week for at least five months starting January 2027, and who communicate

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Law and must remain enrolled for the full duration of the internship.
• Available 32–40 hours per week for at least 5 months starting January 2027.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken, in legal and business contexts.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking to assess legal questions and risks.
• Excellent written communication to draft clear legal documents and summaries.
• Curiosity, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn from feedback.

Responsibilities

• Support review and drafting of commercial agreements and identify key provisions.
• Gain experience across the contract lifecycle from negotiation to signing and record-keeping.
• Conduct EU and local law research and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Assist with contract negotiations and balancing legal/commercial interests.
• Contribute to data protection and regulatory compliance projects.
• Prepare legal documents and summarize findings in a structured way.
• Collaborate with Legal and other departments to support business operations.
• Contribute to broader legal and company-wide projects.
