Job summary

HelloFresh in Amsterdam is seeking a Legal & Compliance Intern to support day-to-day questions, review routine contracts, and help with regulatory tasks. You’ll work with Marketing, HR, Operations, and Procurement to manage risk in a fast-paced food and e-commerce environment and gain hands-on in-house legal experience.

You’ll draft agreements, answer inquiries, and help keep our compliance up to date while organizing our legal templates and databases for quick access.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law.
• Basic understanding of contract law and corporate compliance.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Dutch.
• Pragmatic, problem-solving mindset for business support.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently on high-volume tasks.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and process standard commercial agreements (e.g., NDAs, Terms & Conditions, vendor contracts) in collaboration with our legal counsels.
• Serve as first filter for legal questions from teams and escalate complex matters.
• Support compliance and regulatory obligations with record-keeping and checks.
• Organize and maintain legal databases and templates for quick access.
• Research legal topics related to our industry and provide concise summaries to the team.
• Suggest templates, FAQs, or smarter workflows to improve processes.
