Job summary

Yang Ming (Netherlands) BV in Rotterdam is seeking a fulltime Employee Import and Export Operations to support the Operations Department. You will manage loading lists, coordinate customs matters, and handle VGM data, ensuring smooth cargo flow and accurate documentation.

The role requires MBO-level education or Cargadoor I/II training, good English, and knowledge of Dutch and German is a plus. You will work both independently and in a team with a customer-focused attitude, and training

Qualifications

MBO education or Cargadoor I/II training completed.
Good knowledge of English; Dutch and German a plus.
Ability to work independently or in a team with a customer‑oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

Creation and operational follow-up of loading lists and handling of loading differences.
Coordinating and solving operational and customs technical matters.
Handling of VGM's.
Coordinating and handling of full container damage.
Collect manifest data from our agents.
Declaring the manifests to customs via Portbase.
Send unloading lists to the terminals.
Booking transshipment containers with feeder operators and internally on own feeder services.
Drafting customs documents and reporting veterinary cargo via Portbase.
Handling loading and unloading lists of feeder ships.
Allocation control of feeder services.
