Job summary

IDH Investment Management in Utrecht, Netherlands, seeks a proactive Portfolio Analyst to strengthen the IDH Farmfit Fund's portfolio through financial and impact KPI analysis. You will transform complex data into insights, support investment decisions, and collaborate with Investment Managers and the Management Team on portfolio reviews.

You will develop and maintain reporting, monitor investee performance, and contribute to risk management and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s-level in finance, economics or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience, preferably in an investment or challenging business environment.
• Strong (quantitative) analytical and communication skills both written and verbal in English.
• Experience in structuring and analysing data and distilling insights in a clear manner, preferably in an investment environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Experience (PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI) and portfolio management tools.
• Knowledge of- and experience in collating and delivering presentations.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process and curate portfolio and pipeline data (financial and non-financial).
• Prepare and present detailed portfolio performance and pipeline data reports, including risk metrics and compliance with investment guidelines.
• Provide insights and explanations on portfolio performance, pipeline management and investment decisions to the Management Team of IDH Investment Management.
• Coordinate and support the investment managers with investee reporting, KPI monitoring and periodic review of investee reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of risk management practices and investment processes.
• Assist in preparing stakeholder-facing materials, including portfolio performance reports and pipeline strategy updates.
• Coordinate, draft and support the Annual Plans and the Annual Reports.
• Coordinate and collect data regarding reporting cycle to external stakeholders (IATI, OECD, SFDR).
• Develop and maintain software systems (Monday.com, Power BI).
