Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams and 5+ years in software or data engineering.
• Delivered end-to-end projects where timeliness and output mattered.
• Entrepreneurial self-starter thriving in fast-paced environments.
• Strong foundation in core software engineering and large-scale data pipelines.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional engineering team to deliver reporting products.
• Translate regulatory requirements into robust engineering solutions.
• Drive adoption of the Adyen Formula with fast iterations under regulatory deadlines.
• Partner with product and compliance to prioritise roadmaps, balancing tech debt and changes.
• Manage hiring and headcount planning for the team.
• Provide architectural direction for scalable, reliable data and software projects.
• Balance people management, strategy, architecture and hands-on work.
• Foster ownership, autonomy and open communication within the team.
• Identify RegTech trends to improve processes and automation.
