Adyen is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Customer Data Platform in Amsterdam. You will lead a cross-functional team responsible for data plumbing, dashboards, and reconciliations that empower merchants with accurate, transparent financial insights.

This role combines leadership with hands-on engineering in a scale‑driven environment. You will mentor engineers, drive architectural standards, and collaborate with Product and Design to deliver high-impact features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of scalable design patterns and system architecture.
• Ability to translate complex needs into actionable engineering roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead people and team leadership, mentorship, and hiring decisions.
• Balance innovation and scalability to serve millions of merchant interactions.
• Set architectural standards across merchant facing UI and configuration platform.
• Drive reconciliation features and merchant experience with Product and Design.
• Raise the bar for reliability, testing tactics, and production monitoring across teams.
• Coordinate cross-team discussions and align technical work with business goals.
