Job summary

Job Invest B.V. in Rosmalen zoekt een ICT Engineer die live gaat met een nieuw IT-omgeving. Je implementeert en configureert IT-omgevingen en begeleidt migratie- en onderhoudsprojecten.

Je werkt nauw samen met ondersteuning, sales en projectmanagement om zeker te stellen dat alles werkt en het project naar tevredenheid van de klant wordt opgeleverd. Je bewaakt voortgang, legt complexe storingen uit en geeft advies over de beste technische oplossingen.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare IT-functie.
• Arbeids- en denkniveau op MBO/HBO-niveau, bij voorkeur ICT.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels.
• Ervaring met IT-infrastructuur zoals servers en netwerken.
• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en klantgerichte houding.
• In staat prioriteiten te stellen en gestructureerd te werken.

Responsibilities

• Implementeren en inrichten van IT-omgevingen en live zetten van projecten.
• Instellen, migreren en optimaliseren van servers en netwerken.
• Toezicht houden op voortgang en duidelijke verwachtingen voor klanten waarborgen.
• Uitzoeken en oplossen van complexere storingen en support op derde lijn.
• Bijdragen aan procesverbeteringen binnen de engineering.

Organization

The organization is active in IT services, focusing on the design, implementation, and management of modern IT environments. Within the Engineering department, diverse projects for clients are worked on daily, with quality, reliability, and collaboration being central.

You work closely with various internal teams such as support, sales, and project management. This collaboration ensures that projects are executed efficiently and customers can rely on stable and future-proof solutions. Within the organization, there is a strong focus on knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of processes.

Function

As an ICT Engineer, you are responsible for implementing and commissioning IT environments. You work on diverse projects where you set up, migrate, and optimize server and network environments. Throughout these projects, you closely monitor progress and ensure that customer expectations remain clear. You know how to explain technical solutions understandably and ensure a smooth handover to support once a project is completed.

In addition to project work, you will also be involved in resolving more complex malfunctions and handling third-line support. You will monitor lead times, set priorities, and ensure that incidents are handled adequately. At the same time, you will actively contribute to improvements within the engineering processes and advise both customers and colleagues on the best technical solutions. With your structured approach and technical knowledge, systems will not only keep working but will also be continuously improved.

Job Requirements

What is expected of you?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT role
• MBO/HBO level of work and thinking, preferably in ICT
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages
• Experience with IT infrastructure such as servers and networks
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
• The ability to prioritize and work in a structured manner
