Job summary

DS Smith Plc in Amsterdam/London that specialises in sustainable packaging seeks an IBP Senior Specialist to lead the monthly 1-3 month tactical IBP cycles, aligning demand, supply, inventory and financial targets across a global footprint.

You will build scenario models, dashboards and KPI insights, partnering with Sourcing, Sales, Finance, Supply Planning, Manufacturing and Logistics to mitigate risk and optimise working capital.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IBP, Demand/Supply Planning or S&OP experience in a multinational setting.
• Degree in business or supply chain with planning certification preferred.
• Strong analytics and proficiency with visualization tools and ERP planning systems.

Responsibilities

• I BP Cycle Leadership: run monthly 1-3 month tactical IBP cycles and align across demand, supply, inventory, and finance.
• Scenario Modeling & Risk Mitigation: identify gaps and constraints via scenario analysis and insights.
• Business Partnering: collaborate with global teams across geographies to protect service and profitability.
• Analytics & Performance: develop dashboards and KPI analytics to monitor planning accuracy and inventory health.
• Strategic & Long-Term Planning: support cycles beyond 1 year and translate insights into strategy.
• Process & Systems Improvement: drive standardization and implement advanced IBP tools.
