Job summary
Alberdingk Thijm Scholen invites a Mathematics teacher to join the International School Hilversum, teaching IB DP/MYP Mathematics to students aged 12–18. You will help design curricula alongside a team of engineers, dancers, coders and more.
The role is based in Hilversum, with guidance from a well‑established Mathematics Department. We value curiosity, collaboration, and a willingness to engage in broader school life, including clubs and awards.
Qualifications
- DUO bevoegd teaching qualification required.
- Master's degree in Mathematics or related field.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary school.
- Experience with IB DP and MYP mathematics.
- Keen to be involved in school life beyond lessons.
- Based in the Netherlands with a valid work visa or NL passport.
- Excellent command of English.
Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to 12–18 year olds in the IB Diploma Programme.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design the curriculum.
- Mentor students and participate in school activities (e.g., Duke of Edinburgh, clubs).
- Contribute to school life beyond lessons and engage with the community.
