Job summary

The International School Wassenaar – Rijnlands Lyceum is seeking a DP Biology teacher who will also teach MYP Integrated Science in a dynamic IB environment in Wassenaar, the Netherlands. This 0.5–0.7 FTE role focuses on delivering high-quality biology and science instruction while collaborating with the science team to develop curricula.

Qualifications

• You are internationally-minded and have strong English skills.
• Experience in international or intercultural education is required.
• You are innovative, eager to learn, and up-to-date with current research.
• Experience with DP Biology and MYP Integrated Science is preferable.
• You hold a valid teaching qualification for the Netherlands/Europe (1e graads).
• You have permission to work in the Netherlands/Europe.

Responsibilities

• You will teach Biology in the Diploma Programme and Integrated Science in the Middle Years Programme.
• You will work with colleagues to develop the DP Biology and MYP Integrated Science curricula.
• You inspire and motivate students and deliver high quality teaching.
• You may contribute to extracurricular activities and school community initiatives.
