Van Oord is seeking a hydrodynamics engineer to join our team in the Netherlands, focusing on ship–wave interactions to assess workability across wave climates. You will translate RAOs into clear overviews for stakeholders and collaborate with tender, project teams and vessel crews.

Ideal candidates combine strong analytical skills with a hands-on engineering mindset, communicating complex results to technical and non-technical audiences, and are willing to travel abroad for on-board follow-ups.

Formación

• MSc degree in engineering is required or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills and practical engineering mindset.
• Willingness to travel abroad for follow-up on board vessels.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to design and installation aspects of projects from tender to execution.
• Develop safe, efficient, and innovative workability-enhancing solutions for dredging vessels.
• Coordinate with specialized engineering consultants and follow-up on site.
• Supervise junior colleagues and review their work.
