Job summary

Rise Technical is seeking a multiskilled engineer/technician for our Rotterdam site to travel across European seas on marine projects, performing inspections and repairs and delivering outstanding service.

The role is customer-facing, with a strong emphasis on flexible travel and being away from home. Expect base salary plus overtime, travel pay, and full benefits including a company car, pension, phone and laptop.

Qualifications

• Maritime/marine engineering background required.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical or hydraulic engineering.
• Fluent English and excellent customer manner.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ and stay away from home.

€48,000 - €55,000 gross base salary + Overtime + Additional travel pay (Total earnings circa €55,000 - €68,000) + Company Car (with personal use after probation) + 8.33% Holiday pay + 26 days holiday + Pension + Phone + Laptop

This company are a maritime specialist supplying cargo and loading handling solutions into merchant, naval, port and offshore markets. Due to expansion at their Rotterdam site they are looking to grow their market share and expand their specialist division working on a wide variety of Marine projects by hiring multiple Hydraulic specialists.

In this role the person will be working at customer locations, primarily in European Seas. You will be working on inspection, troubleshooting or repair projects for clients. You will need to be customer facing in the role and provide an excellent service to customers. All stay away is fully compensated and overtime paid.

The person will come from a maritime/marine engineering background with experience of electrical, mechanical or hydraulic engineering. You will need to speak fluent English and have an excellent customer manner. Flexibility and willing to stay away from work is essential in this role.
