Job summary

ING in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer for the Java Platform Team. You will champion platform stability, lifecycle management, and end-to-end reliability across OpenShift-based hosting, Java APIs, and observability tooling, collaborating with squads in a multidisciplinary, agile environment.

In this hybrid role, you will drive automation, incident resolution, and compliance, while partnering with Platform Chapter Lead and stakeholders to deliver resilient Cash Management

Qualifications

7+ years in Platform Engineering/DevOps.
Hands-on with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Linux.
Experience with observability and incident management.
Experience with CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
Strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own platform stability and performance.
Lead lifecycle management and migrations.
Drive risk remediation and compliance.
Act as escalation point for major incidents.
Enhance observability with monitoring dashboards.
Improve automation and standardization.
Collaborate with engineering, security, and platform teams.
