FeedbackFruits, an edtech company headquartered in Amsterdam, is hiring a senior full-stack engineer to help build the next version of our platform.

You will join an engineering squad, own full-stack delivery from backend logic to the server-rendered UI, and lead the Ember to Rails + Hotwire migration with PMs and designers. Hybrid work with onsite days strengthens our collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with Rails as home stack.
• Tests with RSpec and Capybara, focusing on real-world reliability.
• User-oriented thinking when designing features, not just implementation.
• Experience with legacy codebases and careful refactoring to improve quality.
• Strong CI/CD practices and ability to improve pipelines.
• Clear communication and collaborative mindset in reviews and discussions.

Responsibilities

• Own full-stack delivery on the roadmap from backend logic to the server-rendered UI.
• Lead the Ember → Rails + Hotwire migration and redesign with PMs/designers.
• Handle support escalations and legacy bug fixes alongside feature work.
• Contribute to improving CI/CD practices and deployment pipelines.
• Keep performance across the stack in mind.
• Build and maintain integrations with Learning Management Systems (LMS) using LTI and partner APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
