The Project Controller at TNO will partner with project leaders, researchers, and managers to keep financials visible and controllable across a broad portfolio of projects in the Services Organisation. You will advise on budgets, performance, and financial implications, translating numbers into practical insights.

You’ll contribute to process improvement, data analytics, and the use of AI in project control, while developing professionally within a collaborative team at The Hague.

Qualifications

• A completed HBO bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Accountancy, Controlling, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a (project) control position, preferably within a complex, project-based environment.
• Affinity with digitalisation, data-driven decision-making, and emerging technologies that make the finance and control profession smarter and more effective.

Responsibilities

• Support a broad portfolio of innovative research and development projects, advising on budgets, project performance and financial implications of decisions.
• Review project proposals, quotations, cost calculations, and contracts; identify opportunities and risks early and translate financial information into actionable insights.
• Contribute to professionalisation of Finance & Control, improving processes, management information, and applying data analytics and AI.
