Job summary

agap2 is seeking a PLC/SCADA Automation Engineer to work on challenging industrial automation projects across industries such as Banking, Fintech, Telco, Retail, Sports and Healthcare. You will design, program, test, and support automation systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international environment with a local Amsterdam focus.

You will grow through a tailor-made talent program, learn new technologies, and share knowledge while adapting to different customer environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong experience designing, programming, and troubleshooting industrial automation systems.
Proficiency with PLC, HMI, and SCADA platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Ignition/Wonderware).
Experience with Ladder Logic, FBD, ST and industrial communication protocols.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications for industrial facilities.
Program, configure, test, and troubleshoot control systems for automated equipment.
Create specifications, control philosophies, and technical manuals.
Integrate field devices, sensors, VFDs, motion control, and robotics into platforms.
Lead FAT/SAT, commissioning, startup, validation, and performance testing.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance to improve reliability and efficiency.
Support Industry 4.0 initiatives and digital transformation projects.
