Job summary

Airswift is seeking a P&ID Engineer at junior to intermediate level to support complex boiler and steam generation projects in the Netherlands. The role is hybrid/office-based with a one-year contract and start around December/January.

Fluent Dutch and English are mandatory to work across multidisciplinary teams. You will develop, maintain and ensure the integrity of P&IDs, coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Electrical and Procurement teams, and contribute to compliant design using ASME and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical/chemical/chemical technology or related engineering field.
• Experience with P&ID development and maintaining industrial process systems.
• Fluent Dutch and English are mandatory for communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage project P&IDs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all designs comply with contractual requirements, engineering standards, and applicable codes including ASME.
• Define and document critical process design parameters.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across engineering documentation.
• Coordinate project activities across process, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, and procurement teams.
