Job summary

Cardano in Rotterdam is seeking an Operational Risk Professional to map and assess risks across the organization, conduct risk self-assessments, and help improve processes for continuity. You’ll work with the Risk Management team and interact with colleagues across departments.

You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Completed university education.
• At least five years of work experience.
• Proactive attitude and initiative.
• Ability to bring structure and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical skills; experience in risk management and compliance preferred.
• Strong team player with collaboration across teams.
• Ability to work independently and engage in constructive discussion.
• Clear communication in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Map and assess risks within Cardano through risk self-assessments.
• Investigate incidents to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute risk perspectives on projects.
• Develop conclusions and mitigations for increased process risk.
• Maintain records in the risk & compliance system.
