Job summary

Canon Production Printing in Venlo, NL, is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to develop applications and system software for our high-end printing products. You will work with .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework and Angular/TypeScript across cloud, desktop, on-premises and printer-controller environments.

Within an agile team, you will design, implement and test software components, review code, and help turn product requirements into reliable, testable solutions while collaborating with software,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics or comparable field.
• Up to 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Basic experience with C# and/or Angular/TypeScript through study, internship or work.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing and testing software components in C# and/or Angular/TypeScript.
• Developing microservices and user interfaces for printing and workflow products.
• Integrating software with printer controllers, embedded systems and cloud environments.
• Reviewing code and improving quality through automated and component testing.
• Contributing ideas, prototypes and technical solutions within an agile team.
