Placements24 is seeking an innovative Early Years Learning Facilitator to join a progressive childcare center in Welkom, SA. The role focuses on guiding young children's development through a curriculum that encourages exploration, creativity, and critical thinking, both on-site and through hybrid initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have an ECD qualification, strong curriculum design skills, and a collaborative mindset to foster holistic growth within a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating early years learning programs.
• Strong understanding of child development theories and pedagogical approaches.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and inspire young learners.
• Proficiency in using educational technology for hybrid learning components is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that caters to the diverse needs of young learners.
• Facilitate engaging learning experiences that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Observe and document children's progress, utilizing assessments to inform instructional planning.
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's learning and development at home.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to enhance teaching practices.
