Job summary

Rewire is looking for a Data Engineer to design and implement robust data and AI pipelines, collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams across Europe. You will help shape architecture, lead technical design, and drive data transformation initiatives with a hands-on, growth-minded approach.

You’ll work on scalable software solutions, engage with clients to translate needs into engineering outcomes, and contribute to a culture of curiosity, autonomy, and impact.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with excellent results in a quantitative or STEM field.
• Experience building data pipelines and scalable systems.
• Hands-on growth mindset and ownership of tasks.
• Strong communication and collaborative spirit.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus; willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Build robust data & AI infrastructure – design and develop the pipelines, platforms, and systems that power our clients' data-driven ambitions
• Advise clients on technical best practices – translate business needs into sound engineering decisions, bridging the gap between strategy and implementation
• Develop scalable software solutions – write clean, maintainable code that turns complex requirements into reliable, production-ready systems
• Contribute to organizational change – implement data & AI innovations supported by GAIN®, our certified education and training portfolio
• Use technical expertise and communication skills – build scalable data & AI solutions that drive value across the organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from both the client and Rewire – contribute from day one while learning from experienced leaders
