Job summary

SII Netherlands is seeking a Business Developer Engineering to drive growth by combining business development, recruitment of engineering talent, and consultant follow-up across the Dutch market.

You will build a portfolio of clients in Aerospace, Space and Defense, Mechanical Engineering, and related sectors, identify opportunities, manage RFQs and contracts, and work with international SII entities to deliver engineering expertise.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or equivalent.
• Initial experience in business development, recruitment, consulting, or engineering services.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial drive.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong asset.
• Strong organizational skills, resilience, and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and recruit top engineering talent.
• Build and grow a portfolio of clients across the Dutch engineering market.
• Identify opportunities; meet decision-makers within engineering organizations; build long-term partnerships.
• Handle offers, tenders, and contract negotiations; ensure profitability and growth.
• Collaborate with SII international entities to deliver engineering expertise.
