Job summary

SII Netherlands is seeking a Business Manager Engineering to drive growth in the Dutch market by combining business development, recruitment, and people management. You will build a client portfolio, recruit engineering consultants, and nurture long-term partnerships across Aerospace, Space & Defense sectors.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, business, economics, or equivalent.
• Initial experience in business development, recruitment, consulting, or engineering services.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial drive.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build long‑term client relationships.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop a portfolio of clients across the Dutch engineering market.
• Recruit top engineering talent and manage consultant careers.
• Prospect, meet decision-makers, and build long-term partnerships.
• Assess customer technical challenges and staffing needs.
• Manage RFQs, tenders, and contract negotiations for profitability.
• Collaborate with SII international entities to deliver engineering expertise.
