Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced HV Test Manager to lead and expand onshore high-voltage testing and termination activities in the Netherlands.

The role combines deep HV testing expertise with people leadership, developing testing methodologies, procedures and quality standards while guiding 10–20 engineers across multiple teams. You will work with customers in renewables, utilities and infrastructure sectors to drive excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in HV testing or related activities.
• Experience with substations and underground cable systems.
• Knowledge of mobile resonance trucks operation/setup.
• Strong leadership with ability to mentor engineering teams.
• Dutch language skills are advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and further develop the company's HV testing and cable termination activities.
• Act as the technical authority for high-voltage testing, commissioning and field operations.
• Own testing methodologies, technical procedures and quality standards.
• Provide expertise in Partial Discharge (PD) testing, diagnostics and asset integrity assessment.
• Manage testing activities across HV substations, underground cables, field testing and commissioning.
• Oversee testing operations using mobile resonance testing equipment.
• Support expansion of the onshore testing division.
• Provide technical leadership to approximately 10–20 engineers and technicians across teams.
• Drive operational excellence, process improvements and best practices.
• Collaborate with customers in renewables, utilities and infrastructure.
