Job summary

Nebius Group in Amsterdam is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for high- and medium-voltage power infrastructure behind Nebius AI data centers across EMEA. You will design, review and optimize electrical systems from concept through handover to operations.

The role requires strong HV/MV experience, knowledge of protection and control, and ability to coordinate across multiple streams to deliver buildable solutions. Travel across EMEA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of electrical design experience in data centers, utilities or large industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV distribution, substations, switchgear and protective systems.
• Experience producing or reviewing construction-ready electrical design documentation and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical designs for data center builds across EMEA.
• Own HV and MV design inputs from utility connection through transformers, switchgear and downstream distribution.
• Produce/score design criteria, single-line diagrams, load schedules and protection concepts.
• Lead power-system studies including load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination and harmonics.
• Coordinate electrical design with mechanical, controls, network, civil and architectural workstreams.
• Support procurement, FAT, SAT and handover to operations.
