Job description

English & Dutch required | French highly desirable

We are looking for an experienced Country HR Business Partner to support a major global organisation across the BeNeLux region.

This is a senior, highly visible role combining strategic HR business partnering with hands-on operational delivery. You’ll play an important part in people transformation initiatives across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg while managing complex employee relations, Works Council engagement, employment-law matters and organisational change.

This would suit someone who is comfortable moving between senior stakeholder advisory and hands-on execution and who has strong experience navigating the employment landscape across BeNeLux.

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead and support Works Council and social partner engagement, including consultation and negotiation around organisational change and collective measures.
  • Partner closely with Employment Legal to ensure HR decisions, policies and transformation activities are legally robust and compliant.
  • Support the implementation of organisational change and people transformation programmes, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Identify and manage country-specific employment risks, developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Personally manage complex and sensitive Employee Relations cases.
  • Help ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements and HR policies across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
  • Work collaboratively with Country HR, Functional HRBPs, Centres of Excellence and HR operations teams across a highly matrixed international environment.
What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally bring 7+ years of progressive HRBP, Country HR or HR leadership experience within a global, complex or matrixed organisation.

Strong, practical experience working with Works Councils is essential, including direct involvement in consultation or negotiations relating to organisational change and collective measures. You should also have good knowledge of BeNeLux employment practices, complex ER matters and experience partnering closely with employment-law specialists.

You’ll need to be equally comfortable thinking strategically and rolling up your sleeves to deliver operationally.

English + Dutch – full professional fluency required

French – highly desirable

  • If you’re an experienced HR professional with strong BeNeLux employment, Works Council and transformation experience, we’d be keen to hear from you.
