Job summary

CMA CGM Holland is seeking an HR Advisor to join its Human Resources team. You will manage onboarding, lifecycle HR processes, and reporting while ensuring compliance with Dutch labour law.

The role covers 1–2 business lines in the Netherlands and Belgium, requires a hands-on generalist with strong MS Office skills and experience with HR systems, and fluency in English and Dutch (B2). The position offers a fixed-term contract and opportunities to lead recruitment and organizational change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Hands-on HR generalist experience in NL context.
• Fluent in English; Dutch at least B2.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with HR reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve and professionalize HR processes, systems and reporting.
• Support and manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to development and offboarding.
• Analyze HR data and metrics and translate insights into concrete, actionable improvements.
• Liaison, point of contact for HR queries within CMA CGM
• Drive and support organizational change and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance and advise managers and employees on Dutch labor law (and where possible Belgian labor law), HR policies, performance, absenteeism and employee relations.
• Act as HR partner for 1–2 Business Lines in the Netherlands and Belgium.
• Take the lead in recruitment and onboarding where needed.
• Work on projects like Global Onboarding, People Review, transformations, Pay Equity.

What will you do?

Who are we looking for?

• You are an HR generalist with a hands-on mentality, comfortable operating in a Netherlands context; experience in Belgium is a plus.
• You have a drive to improve HR reporting, data, processes and systems.
• You hold as a minimum a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• You are well-organized and accurate, and able to translate complexity into clarity.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Highly organized and self-motivated with ability to plan and coordinate workflows
• You are a team player who collaborates easily and contributes to a positive and professional HR team.
• You are fluent in English (spoken and written) and you master Dutch at minimum B2 level, spoken and written.
• You have strong MS Office skills; experience with HR systems and reporting is a strong plus.
