Job summary

HMT is a world leader in emissions-mitigation equipment for aboveground storage tanks. The HSE Representative will support operations by implementing HSE programs and partnering with the operations team to achieve our targets and the goal of reaching beyond zero.

With a Bachelor’s in safety management and 3+ years in HSE, you will conduct inspections, ensure compliance, and lead training while supporting travel within the UK and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety management or Middle Management Safety - IOSH / Nebosh certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
• Eligibility to work in EU.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of HSE.
• Safety Standards/local laws and regulations knowledge.
• Able to work independently without supervision.
• Able to lead a group discussion.
• Focused and able to deliver on time.
• Must be a self-starter and committed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document inspections and assessments.
• Assure compliance with HMT and customer requirements.
• Assist operations in obtaining safety equipment and supplies.
• Assist in accident/incident investigations and reporting.
• Coordinate, conduct or facilitate Health & Safety training activities and safety meetings.
• Perform Accident/Near Miss Investigations and report findings to management.
• Report and recommend corrective actions.
• Counsel and advise all HMT employees and subcontractors in safety practices.
• Keep current Netherlands-specific health and safety policies, procedures, and manuals.
• Perform safety risk assessments and support JSA completion.
• Identify and report unsafe acts or behaviors.
• Learn technical details about the company’s products.
• Support operations by conducting quality audits.
• Create quality inspection and test plan documentation.
• Available for regular travel within the United Kingdom and occasional international travel.

Job description

Under the leadership of the HSE Manager, the HSE Representative will support operations in implementing HSE programs. They will work closely with the HSE Manager in partnering with the operations team to pursue our objectives, targets, and overall goal of reaching beyond zero.

The Job:

We are looking for:
