Job summary

Rolls-Royce Solutions Benelux B.V. is seeking an HS&E Expert for the EMEA region, based in Dordrecht. This role provides regional oversight, coaching and coordination to ensure consistent HS&E standards across the EMEA organization. Regular travel is required as you support local entities in safety governance and improvement.

You will liaise with local HSE managers, lead audits, and promote a strong safety culture while integrating global policies with regional needs.

Qualifications

• Recognized professional HSE qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH or equivalent;
• Relevant HSE experience in complex/international/multi-site matrix orgs;
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, transportation or warehousing;
• Practical experience with HS&E management systems, risk assessments, audits, incident investigations and RCA;
• Proficiency in English; German or another European language is advantageous;
• Willingness to travel regularly across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate the EMEA HS&E roadmap aligned with global/regional priorities and support local implementation.
• Coach local HSE Managers, Leads and leaders on HS&E policies, management systems, and safe working practices.
• Conduct site visits, audits, and compliance reviews; support audits and regulatory reviews.
• Guide local teams on risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions; escalate gaps as needed.
• Strengthen safety culture and local capability through coaching, training and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor HS&E performance and provide management reporting for continuous improvement.

You connect local HSE Managers and Leads, support the rollout of regional and global initiatives, and help ensure the consistent application of HS&E policies, procedures and standards.This is a regional role with regular travel across EMEA. You report to the SVP Global Markets - EMEA and work closely with the local Managing Directors, HSE professionals and operational leaders. Legal, operational and day-to-day HS&E accountability remains with each local entity and its designated HSE role.**Key Responsibilities*** Develop and coordinate the EMEA HS&E roadmap, aligned with global and regional priorities, and support its local implementation.* Coach local HSE Managers, Leads and operational leaders on HS&E policies, management systems, legislation and safe working practices.* Conduct site visits, audits and compliance reviews, supporting local entities during corporate, customer, certification and regulatory audits.* Guide local teams on risk assessments, incident investigations, Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions, escalating significant or recurring gaps when required.* Strengthen safety culture and local capability through coaching, training, knowledge sharing and collaboration across the EMEA HSE community.* Monitor and analyse regional HS&E performance, provide management reporting and drive continuous improvement.
